The Nations Law Firm is a national litigation firm. We represent plaintiffs who have been injured by defective drugs, medical devices, and corporate wrongdoing. We also specialize in catastrophic injuries and wrongful death from other causes, such as trucking accidents, other motor vehicle accidents, drunk driving, elevator accidents, birth trauma, amusement park rides and other defective products. In our business litigation practice, we represent both plaintiffs and defendants. We recently represented plaintiffs from seven states who were defrauded of millions of dollars by California-based defendants. Currently the firm is representing people who have been injured by pharmaceuticals and medical devices such as IVC Filters, Risperdal, Xarelto, Taxotere, the DePuy ASR and DePuy Pinnacle hip implants, and Invokana. Our individual catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases consist primarily of people injured or killed by trucking collisions, drunk driving, and distracted driving, and we are currently reviewing the potential cases of veterans and others affected by the Iraq War Fund / Anti-terrorism Act, and with workers who were injured in the BP Gulf Oil Spill catastrophe. We have successfully prosecuted all kinds of injury cases, including roller coasters, water parks, elevators, forklifts, and medical malpractice.
Our firm consists of a multi-talented, diverse group of legal professionals dedicated and driven to achieve justice for their clients. There are 7 attorneys, including a lawyer-nurse and 3 bilingual attorneys (Spanish, Vietnamese). The Nations’ lawyers are trial advocates for those who have been grievously harmed by others. The firm carefully chooses the claims it will prosecute so that the attorneys can dedicate the requisite time and energy to move each case swiftly to trial or settlement. The Nations’ lawyers are supported by an experienced team of legal staff, many of whom have been with the firm between 9 and 16 years, as well as Firm Administrator Joanna Meinecke, IT Administrator Andrea Schmauss, and Paralegal Charles Bailey, who have been with the firm for 33 years, 28 years, and 26 years, respectively. The Nations Law Firm takes pride in the talent and commitment of its attorneys and staff, the depth of their expertise, and the teamwork they employ to respond to clients’ needs.

More recent cases include the firm’s representation of thousands of clean-up workers and Gulf Coast residents who were physically or financially harmed by BP Oil Company’s wrongdoing, which resulted in the explosion of BP’s Deepwater Horizon oil rig, causing the worst oil spill in U.S. history.
