Howard Nations Inducted into The Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame

May 19, 2012 – At the 2012 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Howard Nations was inducted into the Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame. Each year, The Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame recognizes and honors a few remarkable trial lawyers who have left an indelible mark on the American legal tradition through a lifetime of service to the American public and the Constitution, and who have distinguished themselves as an advocate in the courtroom.

2012hall-of-fame_crop3As a leader of the trial bar, Howard served as president of The National Trial Lawyers, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Melvin Belli Society and the Aletheia Institute, and five years on AAJ’s Executive Committee. This is the latest in a series of awards and acknowledgements Howard has received including the Melvin Belli Society’s Mel Award, MTMP’s Clarence Darrow Award, STLA’s War Horse Award, AAJ’s Heavy Lifting Award, and STLA’s Tommy Malone Great American Eagle Award. Howard is also acknowledged annually in Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.

Howard Nations a Guest on Ringler Radio

January 18, 2012 – Mr. Nations was a recent guest on Ringler Radio, hosted by Larry Cohen and Mike Casey. As President of the The National Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. Nations addressed NTL’s focus on training, networking and education along with major issues facing trial lawyers today and what it takes to be a good trial lawyer.

The National Trial Lawyers is a national organization composed of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers from each state. Membership is obtained through special invitation and is extended only to those attorneys who exemplify superior qualifications, leadership, reputation, influence, stature, and profile as trial lawyers, both civil plaintiff and criminal defense.

Howard Nations in New York at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights

December 5, 2011 – Howard Nations was in New York attending the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights Annual Awards dinner where Human Rights Defenders from around the world are honored for their devotion to justice and to the basic human rights of people everywhere.

Howard is a member of the Leadership Council of the Center and had the pleasure of having lunch with Ethel Kennedy, Founder of the Center and her daughter, Kerry Kennedy, the President and driving force behind the Center.
