October 3, 2013 – In Texas, Attorney General Greg Abbott is facing new questions about the multimillion-dollar settlement he was awarded after being paralyzed by a falling tree in 1984, the kind of settlement he is now fighting against in a tort reform move, making it impossible for a plaintiff to win the same type of award that he received. Abbott is also the leading candidate for Texas Governor.
