Michael A. Musmanno
Nuremberg Trial Judge
"...The person who has, without fault on his part, been injured and who, because of his injury, is unable to work, and has a large family to support, and has no money to engage a lawyer, would be at the mercy of the person who disabled him because, being in a superior economic position, the injuring person could force on his victim, desperately in need of money to keep the candle of life burning in himself and his dependent ones, a wholly unconscionably meager sum in settlement, or even refuse to pay him anything at all. Any society, and especially a democratic one, worthy of respect in the spectrum of civilization, should never tolerate such a victimization of the weak by the mighty."
Richette v. Solomon, A.2d 910, 919, (Pa.1963)

You will find our Vietnamese version of the Firm Overview here.
The Law Offices of Howard L. Nations is a national pharmaceutical litigation firm. We represent plaintiffs who have been injured by defective drugs. We also specialize in catastrophic injuries and wrongful death from other causes, such as motor vehicle accidents, birth trauma, elevator accidents, amusement park rides, and other defective products. In our business litigation practice, we represent both plaintiffs and defendants.
The Nations firm consists of a multi-talented, diverse group of legal professionals dedicated and driven to achieve justice for their clients. There are 8 attorneys, including a lawyer-physician, a lawyer-nurse, and 3 bilingual attorneys (Spanish, Vietnamese, and Danish). The Nations' lawyers are trial advocates for those who have been grievously harmed by others. The firm carefully chooses the claims it will prosecute so that the attorneys can dedicate the requisite time and energy to move each case swiftly to trial or settlement. The Nations’ lawyers are supported by an experienced team of legal staff, many of whom have been with the firm between 17 and 25 years. The Law Offices of Howard L. Nations takes pride in the talent and commitment of its attorneys and staff, the depth of their expertise, and the teamwork they employ to respond to clients’ needs.

He has over thirty years of teaching experience and is one of the best regarded and most sought after speakers in the legal profession.
The Nations Law Firm has handled several high-profile cases, such as Jesica Santillan, the young Mexican girl who died after receiving organs of the wrong blood type in a heart-lung transplant at Duke Medical Center, and Hitoshi Nikaidoh, the outstanding young physician who was tragically killed while stepping into an elevator. The firm is currently representing plaintiffs from seven states who were defrauded of millions of dollars by California-based defendants.
